FGD pam dials

Why was the supposed super dials being sold off by so many peeps when it was said to be the most accurate dials ever made?

To the point when one had to beg to get them only to flip them for a profit VERY shortly later??

And i noticed the vast difference in prices in exactly the same dials being sold by different people. Why is that so?? Would that be fair to the noobs or people here thinks that it the noob's problem to educate themselves and sellers can sell something cheap at ridiculous prices just hoping for a dumb f to bite?

I only saw 1 person here at RWI selling his FGD dials, and yes it was at an insane profit. :evil:

Rest assured, FGD knows about the flippers and I think it's safe to say they will not be getting any more dials from FGD. I would encourage you to not sell to those folks either, PF, when your dials are released.

That type of profiteering is simply bad for our hobby.

yea, I think everyone is keeping mental tabs.... i sold one of the set I got... but I sold it for the exact same amount of money I bought it for.... projects like that should not be money makers in the aftermarket... it defeats the entire purpose...

Pardon my ignorance, but what are FGD dials and who is 'FGD'. Sounds like I should know about them/him. Where can I see some?

I do have a list of close friends here whom i will be giving them the dials for free based on the Pam models they have ON HAND THAT ARE KEEPERS.

Hard to weed out the flippers but i have my way.

Are FGD dials better than DSN's? I have a 240 with thin font, are the FGD dials better with strong lume?
I'm going to turn my 240 into an ultimate, but if I can't find a better dial, then I'm going to stick with what I have.

FGD is only making dials for select models of the Pre-V and Pre-A era.

Your 240 dial is probably about as good as you're going to get for that model.

That's a list I wouldn't mind being on as well. Though I'd be happy to settle for just being able to purchase a couple for my keepers.
