I always love the "bronzo" watches. I had a Pilot Nav-B with brass case, really loved it.
PAM382 from KW is on the way.

But I always wanted a Luminor 44mm case in "bronzo" finish.
I didn't think about it as there are no gen bronzo Luminor, but, one day, I fell on this pic form Ruski91, a PAM250 on a brass support, which gives an "bronzo" reflect on the watch case... And, obviously, I fell in love with it, and becomes a obsession :D

I asked many modders or so to give it a bronze coating, but no way...
The only solution to looks like the bronzo (but shouldn't get the same patina) is an anodized ti case. I decided to have a try as I have a fantasy HF PAM390 in ti case. This is a ideal dial/hands combo for a "bronzo" case.

The lightning (late sunset) gives it quite darker than it really is. I will make some new pics under daylight.

Even if it's a fantasy watch, I'm quite fine with the result for a first attempt. Next project will be the "beloved" PAM250 bronzo-like :D

390 has closed CB and ss case... This one is a "fantasy" as it's a ti case from a 176/177 so open CB ;-)

This is a really cool project Evora! Keep up the great work, and i am really excited to see the 'Bronzo' 250. I am glad that I could inspire you!
When you are done and completely happy with the results ... lets get some of the great photographers on here to take some shots and send it over to Panerai LOL. Maybe we can inspire them to make one!

I can see it now - beautiful 44mm bronzo case (Luminor or 1950 case), 7753 movement with closed case back, or P.9000 with open case back if possible (Not sure about the date lining up, movement stuff is beyond my knowledge) but none the less it will be a stunner!

I have to abort this PAM250 "bronzo" as there is no ti case like the 250. The only ti case available is the PAM326 one. I made some search and it seems that pushers could be not correctly aligned, as pushers are different on PAM250 and PAM326 cases. So, as I was not sure about the movement fittment into it, I go with a similar project... Will be a "bronzo" 326 case with PAM356 dial/hands.

Really nice execution of a great idea. The 390 tobacco dial and gold hands are PERFECT for this case color. GREAT JOB.

This looks so fine. O.Panerai should use some of our ideas :)

Hi Evora

I agree this is a nice idea and result

Congrats

But why the pics have the dial a bit blue coloured?
Is not nicer the dial in real brown colour and the golden hands?

Many thanks for your kind words ;)

The dial isn't "blue", only due to the fact that I took these photos outside, it's the sky's reflect on the crystal.

Couldn't do better with an iPhone...

So, as said, my first idea was the "bronzo" PAM250 (which isn't, in fact :D) in Ruski91' signature.

I just made the anodisation from the case, I tried to fit the PAM250 dial/hands/movement set into the PAM326 case but due to different pushers, the ring movement is not the same. I have to modify to ring movement to fit the PAM250 dial/hands/movement set. But it's on its way, i think that the ring will be done next week.

Here is the "bronzo" PAM326 with it's blue dial, fitted with a home made strap and GSD flamed buckle that matches the case nicely.

I'll show you the final result as soon as possible.
