Just came across this one today on the Bay :

https://www.befr.ebay.be/itm/225269555218

Case and caseback are most probably fake as the 7928 is 39mm, the bezel also looks strange. The movement looks genuine but is not correct for this watch, it's inside the next generations.

The bracelet is horrible, maybe the buckle is real, who knows.
But the price for this one "rep" is quite salty... You could get a Rolex 5513 for that money (no bracelet, box or papers though, like this "Tudor").

What do you guys think ?

I contacted the seller but only got a "Regards" as a reply.

Those hands are definitely fake or aftermarket stuff.

The insert with a metal surround pip is another instant tell sign.

Most watches on Ebay that are $2k or more will be sent to Ebay Authorization for free evaluation before sent to you. If it's below the $2k price, I suggest paying a bit more for Authorization.

Is that for eBay all around the world or only in the US ?

And how do they do that, they can't know about all the watches. For modern day Rolexes it's quite easy to tell if it's real or fake, but what about vintage watches, especial Tudor for example, that used of the shelf ETA movements. How can they know if it's a gen or not ? Or a 6265 with a Valjoux 72 instead of the Rolex modified Valjoux ?

After a bit of research on the net, it seems the bracelet is legit, it looks a lot like a 50's Rolex bracelet :

The movement looks real, so if the seller would price it for €5000 it would be a bit more realistic.
Say whut? €5k realistic! It's a fake 7928 with a Genuine eta modified Tudor 2461 movement.
A REAL genuine 7928 should have a Fleurier 390 movement, not ETA!

Take a zero from the 5000 please🫣

Please report it🙏
