Fake TD Tried To Scam Me

I put an item in my cart before registering on the True TD's website. Somehow in the process of ordering the watch a scam website took over. They said it would take 8 hours minimum to send me the Credit card forms. I did not give them my credit card because at that point I noticed the scam web address was slightly different than the real TD's correct web address. Nothing bad has happened to me. Just posting this to warn other Newbies like myself. Not sure if it is allowed to name the TD or the scam site name?

How did you originally enter the TD website?
did you click a link from a Google search, did you type in the URL yourself or something differently?

Sorry I am not sure how I entered the TD site. I think it was a good link from somewhere on RWI. I also read that this has happened to someone else here and Li said to register first, then order the watch. But I did this backwards. I am still confused as to the correct TD email and site web addresses because they change depending on what one is doing or asking. I know the fake dealer was a scam because the TD (Jtime) has no record of the purposed purchase but the fake scam dealer is still trying to get me to pay them with CC which I of course will not send. I am subscribed to a Jtime publication here: Jtime Watch Store <[email protected]>. The whole episode has made me wary of ordering the ZZF 114060 from them. Several other TD's have this watch. And I have another order in with Trustytime, and am awaiting QC pictures on that one.

In the future you should hit the big button at the top of the webpage stating "TRUSTED DEALERS"

Afterwards you can pick whatever TD you prefer. The contact info and webpage will be displayed under each TD.

Dont use links other people give you.
