Fake Subs on Ebay - Report Them Boys

Two horrific Submariners for sale on eBay. I have reported and emailed the sellers. I can't decide which is worse...probably the first one. Report them!

BTW, doesn't matter if the seller is ignorant or a scammer. Report it.

eBay will contact the seller and explain its concerns. The seller can get a certificate of authenticity from an AD and have it relisted with no loss of fees (assuming its gen)

And with a scan of the cert among his photos, the seller will get even more for it once relisted. Everyone wins.

Looks like the second one comes with a couple of crystals. That must mean it's 100% legit.

First listing has indeed been removed - shame - it looked pretty good in Tuckers screen shot.

Second listing the guy has two quartz crystals balanced on his wrist, and the watch crystal is covered in vaseline.... an attempt to confuse potential bidders no doubt.

For me the immediate tell is the aluminum, tall, wokky peice o' sh!t rehaut. The dial and insert also also tells. The date font is wrong.

I love the crystals on his arm. They really lend a feeling of authenticity to his sale.
