A minute a day is a bit much, can you adjust it? You could take it to a watchmaker and he can do it- it shouldn't be a big deal if he will work on a rep with the dg2813 movement.
It's on the outer edge of "normal and expected". If you have an Android phone you can download watch accuracy meter for free and you can use that as a timeographer to try and dial it in closer. This of course would require you to open the case back and be comfortable enough with the movement to adjust the lever. There is no fine adjustment on that movement so it can be tricky. Personally I would probably just leave it as is

You can but for the price of a 2813, I would ask another movement from the selle. This way there is no risk, it's not the case when sending it black to China...
Whoa! A Sellita isn't an asian movement! Sellita is a Swiss and it's not comparable to a dg2813. It's better. Different hand sizes and stem, different dial feet to boot.
If you can get a watchmaker to regulate your dg2813, you can hopefully get to 20-30 seconds a day, maybe closer. You just need to find a watchmaker who will work on your rep.

since it is a cheap watch, i would wear it as is or have it adjusted by a watchmaker. under no circumstances should you send it back. if the movement should ever break completely, you can always have another movement installed. i have one myself tudor with the 2813 movement, which is also not very accurate, but has been running without problems for many years. greetings r4m
40 minutes fast is in magnetized territorium. Might be able to fix it with a cheap demagnetizer.
Totally agree, and it was the first thing I tried. Although I may give it another go before I end up with it in bits in the watch box as yet another long-term ongoing will never get finished fixer-upper.
