Fake Panerai 217 listed on Ebay for $18,795

Hey guys. Look at this Panerai listed by Watch U Want in Hollywood Florida. The internals of the watch in the pictures are Asian. Check the incabloc and swan neck and microscrew.

It is item number 330892450754 listed as Panerai PAM 217 H.

Retraction!

In the, "I learn something new everyday" school, the 6497/6498 movements are not as easily distinguishable as I have thought. :facepalm:

If you want to see what I am talking about, look at the movements on ofrei's Unitas offering page. http://www.ofrei.com/page206 The spokes are of both the straight and flared design depending on which one you look at.

The Swiss movements I have present straight spokes, and the Asian, flared.

I own that model (gen) on that bracelet. What he shows in that listing looks decent.

If that watch head was on the Bond bracelet, it had a different model number.
