Seriously! I feel bad for the guy, but then:
1) who meets up with a guy in a parking lot to buy a watch?
2) who pays cash?
3) why would you ask if the watch is real AFTER you buy the watch?

i want to feel bad for the guy, but I have trouble when you do so many stupid things. Buyer basically asked for what he got.

It sucks but in this case it's a little bit of caveat emptor.
Like you said he did so many things wrong.

Oh well at least it was only 3000, not 30000 (for a fake AP).

I have a feeling I might have been screwed on this one. It came with a box and papers and warranty card and looked really legit when I purchased it. Its my first panerai and I wasnt sure what to look for and didnt think someone would go through this much trouble to make a fake with a see through case back and box and papers.
I am sorry to hear that someone was scammed, but he just paid 3400 USD to find out that somebody went to the trouble.
Greed eats brain, n'est-ce pas?
