I’m looking for my first rep to be an Explorer II. I’ve done some research and it seems like GMF was the best option in the past but had an unreliable movement? I’d obviously like a watch with as few obviously glaring flaws as possible but unreliability would make it completely unwearable anyway. Has anyone had experience with the new Clean version or could help steer me in the right direction?

I would be down for a polar and black dial model if and when the CF make their appearance. The GMF is ok and looks great but the movement is a ticking time bomb (trust me, I own one and treat it with kid gloves when setting it. Or just looking at it sideways
