Explorer 39mm - best option?

Hello, I am interested in purchasing an explorer I 39mm. The most important thing for me is the exterior, since the machinery, since it does not have a date window, allows me to mount any ETA of 28,800. I have heard that CF is the best option, but there is always the problem with its crystals. I don't know if any member has information on the latest versions of any factory and to see which is the best option.

Clean is the way to go. Imo the best one out there.

I don't think you can swap the clone movement with an ETA.

If you want to swap in an ETA movement I'd recommend the BP. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's one of my most worn watches and I've been happy with it for a couple years. The movement swap is easy as well.

the mechanism can always be searched. but it's true, in the end clean has the best version. I wish VSF had one to compare it to.

Clean 100% I have this and it’s just awesome
I had the BP before. The winding on the CF is unbelievably better.

BP if you want to swap a gen ETA, very good

And don’t listen to the naysayers, the crystal on the CF over the black dial is good. On a Daytona Panda white dial, I get it, but on black, no concern

If you want, swap in a gen crystal and you will have a perfect watch

Echoing that which others have said - if you want the best rep OOTB right now, Clean’s Explorer in 39 is unbeatable. This is the watch which hooked me back into reps after several years and gens out of the game, and since I got it, it has displaced a gen or two to become my most worn watch by far.

All of this I say having hated - not merely disliked, but hated - the Explorer aesthetic a couple of years ago.

Just buy one and swap it in. And imho the VR3130 has no difference performance wise compared to the VS3130

I know what u mean, but i have already a few rolex running on the VS/DD movement, i would rather keep to the same line of movement so if any of them give up it can be used as spares for the others. Saying that, if VSF isn't planning to come out with a 39mm (and it seems like the case since they just came out with the 40mm), i might have to suck it up and buy the Clean of the BP if i want one..
