Hi there,
A month ago I just couldn't resist buying Narikaa's Omega Seamaster 42mm Planet Ocean non-chrono @ 95 USD incl shipping. Thought I'd post a few pics.
Narikaa's description:
42mm x 14.5mm
20mm Curved Link Bracelet
Double Button Deployant with Engraved 'Planet Ocean'
Diver's Extension
Sapphire Crystal with Simplex AR
Asian 21j Automatic Movement
120 click Bezel
High Quality Case / Bracelet Build
192grms
The flaws of this rep compared to the gen have been pointed out before, and to summarize:
Shorter hands
Omega logo (on the dial)
AR weak
Date aperture, date font too thin
Pearl
Crowns are too high
Bezel teeth
PLANET OCEAN on the case back (instead of PLANET OCEAN)
First a couple of pics of the GEN
And now over to my REP
Bracelet is heavy, smooth and with nice rounded edges. Clasp is good (new version with "Professional").
In summary, this is a really nice watch and great bang for the buck. Honestly, this is less than 100 bucks including shipping, and it looks awesome on the wrist. Of course if I hand it over to a fellow rep nerd he/she will notice the flaws, but I doubt anybody else will. It simply gives a very "gen feeling" when you handle it. Definitely worth the money.
