Hey, guys...

I recently picked up a few Pams in efforts to see which one I feel would best fit; 372, 111, and 177.

I received the 177 and the 372 at the same time and I must say that I'm in absolute love with the 177. Thus, sold the 372. However, I just received my 111 from a member here, thanks to the WTB section.

It was sold to me as a BK Pam 111. I received proof that it was, in fact, purchased through BK. Being that I purchased the watch as used, I wasn't expecting a mint condition piece. But what shocked me is that it seems that the MS (micrometric screw) is missing.

Has anyone ever experienced this? And if so, what are my options in replacing it? I tried the search function and good 'ol Google, but I fall short of any helpful results..

Here's a pic..

Any help is freely appreciated. Thanks in advance, RWI!

They are often loose in the mounting block and do just fall out it may be the screw is in the movement somewhere

That is strange. I know the micrometric screw is a real screw so it should stay in place unless it was tampered with.

I'm going to remove the movement tonight and hopefully find it.. it's just strange to me that it would "fall out", considering its threaded. From what I've read, the only thing BK does is polish the bezel and loctite the CG screws.

I bet you'll find it inside the watch or they forgot to install it from the factory.

Took the movement out last night and guess what? It was lodged between the edge of the movement and the case itself. Reinstalled it and checked regulation. I'm a happy man tonight... now to decide whether I want to keep the 111 or the 177!

Thanks, RWI!

Here she is, MS back in place..

Earlier before the forum issue, I was going to post earlier that forgetting to install the screw from the factory was unlikely because this watch passed through BK and the correct length micrometric screw is part of the mod package. Anyway, you've seen it and re-installed it. Congratulations!

Good to hear it was found and the movement was not affected. I bought a 217 from a very trusted member on this forum and in shipping, the micrometric fell out and went on the same little vacation that yours did. Point being, it can happen and apparently does with some frequency. You're a braver man then me for getting her all situated haha
