I don't know much about Tag Heuer. I own a CALIBRE 36 with movement issue (on watchsmith right now..)

But anyway I'm starting to feel those TAGs... So after seeing Seraphe's post with that amazing Aqua 500 Chrono I'm thinking about getting one AQUARACER but I can't decide...

I like AQUA 500 (43mm and swiss movement) and also AQUA 500 chrono (45mm 7750 movement..).

So question is simple... Which is the better and more accurate rep of those ??

And BTW which are the flaws of each model??

I just ordered the 43 mm version yesterday.
For me the reason to order this version and not the chrono was the TAG logo.
It's not really accurate on the chrono version.
This plus the better movement and a better price should you let think about it twice to order the chrono, but if you like bigger watches it should be your pick.
But both are really good looking watches.

And nobody will really doubt you are wearing a gen, because of a moderate price.

edit: Just saw on asian7750 the first one has a higher price, perhaps compare the offer with other dealer pages

If you have chrono and no chrono-> Always no chrono
Very accurate rep. this 43mm no chrono
I like the chronos. But the dial and the look of this no chrono version are very attractive,

I must say one thing about these 2. Generally I prefer non chrono version for 2 reasons
- the non chrono has a "better" movement in term of durability (less complex)
- I found them nicer in terms of esthetic

But in this case I find that the chrono looks nicer ! I'm really hesitating on one of these and the chrono has my preference !

Isn't the logo the same in all these Aqua 500M? From the pictures above, I would say yes.

I will say go for the chrono version. I own a few A7750 watch. The movt is great. Logo is no issue since both suck but the logo arrow is so small it's not a issue. Only in RWI you can see the problem clearly cos the picture is magnify so much times bigger.

Well, after looking a lot of pics and reviews of the Tag Heuer Aquaracer 500 I must say that the thing that bothers me more is the RED colour of CALIBRE 5 against the LIGHT ORANGE colour of the gen.

Other tell (as it has been mentioned before) is the shiny logo on the rep while it's matte on the gen.. But it doesn't bother me much...

But the RED colour... Why? it's probably the easyest thing to rep in the whole watch!!

Anyway the rep looks awesome!! I like the chrono but maybe too big and I preffer the Swiss movement on the non chrono version.

Here is the gen with the ORANGE Calibre 5
