I've been looking at the 29/63 myself. In previous models, the GMT has the more correct 2893, which is the exact movement currently used in the GEN. The hands tend to be too long, and the date font is incorrect. Also, there have been problems trying to AR coat this watch due to the cyclops. Still......I want one too

Is this a davidsen's model? If so it answers a question i had about the colors of the numbers on the dial. Because in davidsen's pic they look green but it could be that they are charged a little:

One thing I find hard to understand is the GMT hand. On this particular models and movement is the GMT hand functional? I also wonder about the lume i wish someone could tell us if the numbers are white before it is charged on davidsens model.

I can tell you that the gmt hand is functional.

The only thing that I noticed is that davidsens seems to have the crystal for a pam88 or pam89 which has a larger cyclops than the 63.

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier...... the watch on the wrist is not from Davidsen. It belongs to me and I got it from EL. It was one of the last ones available with the genuine 2893 movement.

This watch is currently in the hands of Joe for some mods. We're still discussing what "needs" to be done but I suspect the very least will be a good lume job and cyclops. Crown/Crownguard maybe...depends. I don't believe the datewheel projects I've seen on the other board have not been completed yet but if the datewheel option is there I might have it taken care of also. If you are really interested in modding this watfch I suggest you give Joe a PM.

finepics.... and I was told 45 GBP shipped...

Are you sure about that? The last post he made on his thread at RWG said there was a few problems and will be delayed. I tried to PM him but his mailbox was full.

I want one!

Another point on the 063. The Gen does-not have Ar coat.
Last I have heard the datewheels are still semi-delayed.
Davids is a nice piece and worth the bucks.

Dawg, you should be happy...

Yeah...I guess I'm a little late on my feedback...LOL

Well...since you already have it....How is the lume on yours? Also, what do you think of the mag?

Let's see some pics!

Here are some pics of Andrew's for comparison:

What kind of strap do you have on your PAM063 that you bought from Andrew?

The strap is from Elliot. It is a TC Dirk waterproof with white stitching. Awesome combination!

IF anyone is interested I just received a PM from Finepic last night and the correct datewheels are now available. He has a post on RWG under Watch Repair & Upgrades titled "Important Announcement - final reminder". Shipping to start next week.
