I've been toying with the Oysterquartz idea myself for a while. Been keeping an eye out for usable non branded cases on Ali but most of them are 40mm-41mm. Your best bet is probably a rep PRX and go from there. You can get cheap 37mm PRX homage with Seiko quartz movement for around $50
