Do you happen to know much about this 2836 movement seller is saying it is a dressed up movement to look like the 3255
That just means it has a deco plate tacked on to the movement. A deco plate is a complete waste of money in a closed back watch, and can actually be harmful to your movement when loose screws, jewels, etc fall off it and down into your movement or rotor. I've had it happen. I now remove the pieces of sh1t whenever I get stuck with a watch that has one on it.
The money they spend on this useless addition would be much better spent on improving other things - crystal, bezel, movement, whatever. Or just pass along the savings.
This is a deco plate. It's garbage in your watch.
