Well, some of you might bear loads of grudge and complains to the Trusted Dealers on their workmanship and watch accuracy.
From the very inaccurate replicas....all the way till 2013 you see the P9000 clone movement.
You really got to give it to the rep makers , they have done a great job didn't they ? :thumbsup:

I have did a photo collage of Panerai, in particularly, the PAM 243M.

2000 - Not sure when was this bought but as far as i can recall it was bought around 1999 - 2000 when replicas are still scarcely seen around our country. I found this while tidying up my room. Not sure if its even PAM 243 because i don't think its even released. :facepalm:

2008 - This was a photo of PAM 243 Replica from RWG posted on 2008. Note the huge difference on the bezel and the zero magnifying power of the cyclops.

2012 - The almighty PAM 243M V2 Noob Ultimate. Almost 100% identical to the actual watch ! Bezel number font, cyclops magnifying power,

The GEN 243 in its full glory.

Wow. thanks for showing. The 2000 looks like crap and what's wrong with the pearl on the 2008?

The nuts on the bezel was so huge. And the pearl actually follows 2008 the PAM 243J and earlier ones. The PAM 243M pearl looks much refine.

hey bro! interesting comparison!

indeed, reps have come a long way.

hell, i remember my 1st rep was a crazy journey of modding&swapping parts as they progressed! spent about 1000usd on it! &i ended up letting it go for about 300+usd in e end! but it was fun while it lasted.

i remember being able to open up a pam, remove the mvmt, set the hands, clear dust particles, remove the horrendous blue AR, do a crystal swap&put everything back together!

now.? i'm not sure if i can still do it! :lol:

I believe from 2012 onwards, super reps are the way to go. No more 21J or $50 cheapo reps.
Now there are totally zero replica items sold in Singapore. The only country in South east Asia with no replicas and uncensored DVDs available. Well even if there is... I will not buy after knowing what Noob can produce.

Had one of the second pic when they first came out, tried like the devil to get a clops replacement but eventually gave up and sold it be because it bugged me. Bought the latest one and have compared it to the gen, smiled and said no mods close enough for this kid. :D:

How about 243L V2 KW vs. 243M V2 noob? which one is the most accurate to gen? :popcorn:

Hmm regards to these 2 pieces who will be able to give comments ? I am highly satisfied with Noob production. Lets see how well KW fact can bring things to another level.

Haha. I like the word Dark side.
Since my first deal of PAM127 Noob on Mar 2012, I am on the dark side. Guess I get into contact with super reps in the right year.
Looking at those reps in 2008, I am totally not convince to enter the dark side...yet

Yes makers, dealers and of course fans have hard worked to get the current replicas.

Nowadays, I know that our reviews are closely followed for makers to know the flaws we are detected and then correct them.
They also know that we will not accept some flaws tolerated some years ago.

We are in the correct way !!

The trusted dealers never made the watches, they just middle men. The only dealer i know turned maker is kuvarsit, but unfortunately he aint a trusted dealer here..yes the reps indeed had came a long way. Now they are even difficult to tell side by side with a gen. They have done well in the aesthetic, i really like to see next is the movements repped. :popcorn:

Curious how the bezel construction has evolved..do you feel it is well constructed (e.g., no play in the bezel)?
