Eventually pulled the trigger on a UPO from Trevor

Well I've eventually ordered one! I just hope it keeps good time! Fed up of my cheaper reps from markets stalls in Shanghai that seem to gain time! After some research and help on here I opted for a UPO from Trevor with pressure testing! I need to be able to swim with it ideally! All good so far with coms, I've been promised QC pics with in the next few day so when I receive them I'll post them up. Would appreciate opinions so I don't miss anything! Then of course once it lands in London I'll post some wrist shots. Next purchase will be a Hublot, thought I'd play it safe first with a UPO!!

Nice choice! You will be happy for sure. I've heard the noob factory is fitting them now with SW200, vs. ETA. What movement are you expecting?

Be interesting to have it pressure tested again when you get the watch to see if he really does it.

I asked what movement, it's a Asian COPY ETA 2836 clone 28800bph.

Yeah I hope he does test it, I read in another thread after I'd paid how it's usually just a scam.

It is listed as 2824, but I thot that its the 2836 that comes with the date function.

Just received the QC photos, great service so far!! Paid 48 hours ago! Do these look ok? I've requested a shot with the hands in a different position so I can make sure the logo and text are ok. What do you all think? Can't see the serial number but guess it's there! Thank you.

As requested Trevor or Le sent me more photos, great response time so far. But the hand is still in the way of the 12 o'clock marker. I'm a little concerned that the 'seamaster' text is wonkey? Thoughts, is this usual or am I seeing things? If it is it'll annoy me! Thanks

Update: I've accepted the watch. I hope it's just an illusion with the camera angle. A++ Service from Trevor so far.

Haven't heard from Trevor for a few days now, he's either busy pressure testing my watch as paid for or just wasting a bit of time to make it look like he is!! Maybe I'll never know. But either way I can't wait to get it on my wrist!!

It's been shipped! After a couple of days with no contact from Trevor I emailed to ask how Pressure Testing had gone and had he tested the timing accuracy yet? 24hours later still no reply so I just sent the same email again. Then I get a reply saying the watch has been shipped. After a couple more emails regarding the pressure testing I'm not getting any straight answers, best I've had is that the watch is waterproof and keeps good time. I'm pretty sure as mentioned in other threads the whole pressure testing is a bit of a scam. Just a way for the dealer to get an extra $25. Disappointed on that front. But the watch was only $178, so with pressure testing, shipping and pay pal fee a total of $240.

I'm looking forward to receiving it now. Will have to get it pressure tested here and regulated if need be.

He's now emailed saying 30ATM, doubt it was actually tested though. Think I'll have to get it done locally.
