For the little story I always liked the Tudor 7928, but I also always liked snowflake hands, so one day I came across this Tudor watch and instantly knew it was the one I wanted :

I checked the spare parts I had, ordered some others, got lucky in finding some stuff (like the gen Rotor), asked the watchmaker Natas78 if he could make some magic and here it is ! By the way, my favorite part of the watch (except for the dial, hands and gen Rolex insert) is the movement. I think it really looks very similar to a vintage gen Tudor movement of the 70's.
Quickly on the movement, it was serviced in November 2024 and the ghost date position was removed with a setting lever (only two positions : wind and time setting, no ghost date).
The parts used and prices are ass follow :
- Vietnam Tudor mid-case : free
- Case reshape and chamfers by Natas78 : 100 €
- Custom case engravings : 75 €
- Phong complete 3 part bezel (used so half price) : 140 €
- Gen Rolex 5513 service bezel insert with Phong pearl : 229 €
- Unknown brand used superdome acrylic crystal : free
- Vietnam replica Rolex service caseback : free
- Athaya 700 crown and tube : 28 €
- Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement from a Davosa : 150 €
- Swiss ETA stem : 8 €
- Swiss setting lever for ETA 2824 : 21 €
- Swiss ETA Rotor Bridge with perlé finish, part 1134 : 45 €
- Gen Tudor rotor : 65 €
- Movement serviced + regulated by Natas78 : 215 €
- Rotor repair by Natas78 : 50 €
- Brass asian ETA adapter ring : free
- Yuki Tudor ETA dial : 99 €
- Various makers hands : free
- Dial and hands relumed by Natas78 : 190 €
- Final assembly by Natas78 : 75 €
- Fat 2mm spring bars : 15 €
Selling price is 900 Euro + shipping ! That's way less than what I payed for this build and it's available right now.
The only reason I'm selling this watch is because UPS lost my superfranken 5512 (with gen movement and a whole bunch of gen parts), and I need to get back some cash... There's nothing wrong with this Tudor, it looks great, runs great and was a pleasure to put together.
Thanks for reading.
