Sold the coke insert it came with and exchanged for a gen pepsi insert.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
The watch came with a Submariner caseback so the total thickness was off. This specific Viet case is delivered with a Submariner caseback according to my investigation.
So it has been shaved down. Total thickness of the watch is around 12,3mm on my calipers now. The caseback can be seen in the photos.
It has to be noted that the dial has a slight imperfection: seems like the hands were improperly (?) installed (not anymore!) which can only be seen in the harshest of bathroom lighting.
Moreover when screwing down the crown it feels rough as if it stays in winding position. This does not impair the functionality of the movement or the crown itself. It can still be wound perfectly fine. Time setting etc works well. Timekeeping is good (around +4 - 5 sec per day on my wrist.) The crown can still be screwed down safely. The watch was delivered to me this way. The seller told me it was like that since the watch has been built and of no issue. I had no issues with it either.
The bezel turns too easily and has no proper click. Feels a bit too loose. Again this is no new issue and has been delivered to me this way.
Due to these issues I will discount the price of the watch a little bit. I don't know how much it will cost to fix it.
The condition of this watch is "well worn" as it's supposed to mimic a neo-vintage piece of around +-25 years.
