ETA2824-2 date does not change

Hi,
I would need a little guiding. I have a new ETA the date change as usual with the position 2. However it does not change with the crown in postion 3 (totally pulling out).
Any idea what it is wrong? Any tutorial somewhere?

Have you wound the hands through 36 hours to see if it clicks over ?

If not then the date change mechanism needs to be reset - not a long or difficult job as long as nothing is broken.

I had the same problem on one of my reps. I sent it to HOW HOT MODS, aka Rick914. He fixed it fast and cheap. It's been working perfect since.

Probably on the interweb somewhere - but don't attempt this if you don't know what you're doing - it involves removing the movement, the hands, the dial, the date wheel and possibly more.

I have already done those operations before to fix a keyless issue. I will Google it.

your quikset position 2 work OK. 24hr date change not function in position 3. something not work with either 2 part below
