ETA swap on Noob LMPO question

Hey all,

I am waiting for my Omega Noob LMPO V12 to arrive and I want to do an ETA swap. (https://puretimewatch.io/seamaster-...948-lmpo-1-1-noob-best-edition-v12-23219.html)

I am curious if an ETA 2824-2 will work seamlessly or do I need to get exactly the 2824? As far as I have read elsewhere, they should be interchangable, but I rather confirm before buying either of the movements

2824-2 will be fine, the A2824 is a 2824-2 clone.

Just for the record (I am aware it's an old thread)

LMPO requires a H3-H4 second wheel/hour wheel, cannon pinion.
Standard movements do not come with H3 H4.

So a real 2824 is in it now. Not a st or Chinese movement

I doubt you will ever get the same hands on the watch. The dial posts will probably not align, and the clearances will probably be off

If a replica is a keeper for you, it's common practice to upgrade to a swiss movement usually better quality and reliability.

the replacement is not the same as the movement you want to replace. If you have hands, another dial , cannon pinion, sapphire glass and gasket that will actually fit , not to mention a new crown , etc.
change the parts that will be the least disruptive and the most beneficial. Otherwise your watch will be in pieces more than likely
