ETA Powermatic 80 C07.111 check

I purchased a few Powermatic 80 movements via ebay for upcoming low-beat builds. I put the movements on my timegrapher and they are running @ 28,800 bph - not the 21,600 bph that I thoughts that all Powermatic 80 / C07.111's ran at.

The seller is located in China.

Does anyone know if there is a Chinese clone of the movement out there, or if ETA made a high beat version of the movement? Seems odd.

Balance jewel setting looks wrong to me, I’d suspect it’s a clone.

Turns out they do make a “clone”, though at 28800 it looks like it’s just a reconfigured A2824

Thanks for posting. Was sold as an ETA/Tissot movement so I have buyer protection from the marketplace that I purchased through, I'll be returning it then..
