Hello friends,

I have a rep with a chinese 7751 but it is "pumping" - that means, when the spring is fully pulled up on the wrist or while in the watch mover, the movement runs a lot faster (up to 10 minutes/day). A local watchmaker tested it but told me he cannot do anything to adjust the movement. So I´m thinking to exchange this movement for another chinese or a real eta 7751.

Does anyone know the equivalent name for a chinese or asian 7751 movement? If possible I would prefer a movement with 28800 bpm. The original eta 7751 costs about 600 $ and in this case I could buy instead the gen watch.

Thank you for helping.

No but I'm considering a piece with this movement and wanted to know what to expect

I had a Datora montbrilliant with this movement I recently sold. Mine was solid, kept decent time and had an excellent power reserve, but there are so many complications it honestly did make me slightly worried. There are a few that have shown up broken recently. In general I loved mine, so I was torn about getting rid of it. I do have sellers regrets, but I did not wear it so it needed to get on to someone who will wear it.
