ETA 2873

I am in the process of gathering parts for a Tudor early snowflake and have a case, crystal hands and the 2873 movement to use. I wanted to know if anyone has sources for a stem, or where to source the stem as well as the correct date wheel.

Thanks.

E

Edited. Dislexia on part of the seller upon review of the movement, it is a 2873 not 2783 eta.

There's always eBay.

Date wheel: 360176425480
Stem: 120686870174

I know but the stem seems a bit high and I cannot believe only England or Aus have the parts.

Thanks for the item numbers.

Parts for some of the older ETA movements can be a headache to source. All I can suggest is that you check ranfft for similar movements, then run searches using those numbers. A bit tedious, but you'll get more options.

I found an online store not to long ago that stocked old movement parts. http://www.scotchwatch.com/

Never actually bought from them, but did see some stuff there that was hard to find elsewhere.

Scotchwatch is an excellent seller of last resort. A lot of their stuff isn't too cheap, but I've had zero problems dealing with them. Very helpful, and quick to respond to emails.

Nice. Thanks guys. I used raffit's guide but even the compatible movements are hard to source. I want to keep this build as close to the original as possible. At least 2824 hands fit the case.
