I understand, but you should have said that, I have have multiple high reviews for trades with many members, am a VIP supporter and am known for posting sales with great deals. I was way more skeptical trading with you being a member for less then a year and no prior sales posts, as well as how fast you wanted to make a trade. The only reason for not replying in 15 hours was out 3 hour time zine difference my 8 hours of sleep, 30 min shower, 30 min breakfast and waiting 3 hours after I woke up to check a forum about replica watches before playing with my kid in a Saturday. But thanks for the apology.

Wish I’d seen this but it looks like I got scammed for $400 by Dodge2009 at RepGeeks.

The cell phone number associated with his Zelle account is (817) 901-9793.

He also goes by Eric Vargas and Eric Garza.

He apparently has [email protected] email address.

Possible address is at
3816 S Main St
Fort Worth TX 76110

Looks like?

You should probably be 100% sure before considering to posting his phone number, name, home address and email? :ROFLMAO:

Ok. If it makes you feel better. I got scammed by the punk. Like 100% sure. Also, his information given is already in the public domain.

Well... its not about my feelings.

I despise scammers and thieves but doxing someone isn't the best way to handle things. IMHO

How did he scam you? The original post looks like its from almost 10 years ago. How did this dodge2009 character last so long on the forum and still scamming?

Is how he scammed me important? Use your imagination. He took my money and never delivered. And your point is…

What you are missing, or not seeing, is the title of this thread. The name Eric Vasquez and his RepGeek’s handle, Dodge2009, both match the individual who scammed me. Where? On RepGeeks! You may think it’s a coincidence but I wasn’t born yesterday.

I appreciate your wanting to portray a sense of integrity but Eric Vasquez hasn’t been doxed by me. He gave up this information, himself. His phone number and email address are what he used on Zelle and PayPal. To what purpose should I coverup what he freely disclosed?

This information needs to be shared because Vasquez could create a new account and try to reuse those same PayPal and Zelle handles to steal from someone else.

My moral code is I have an obligation to do what I can to stop that from happening.

I believe it is important that, when we are scammed, we share it. I think the higher road is to let him, and other scammers, know they are not going to get a free pass in this community.

I, for one, wish I’d been aware of this creep’s history so of course I will bend over backwards to see that others (innocent others) aren’t hit with the same fate.

@Slugger did you onform the mods in any way about this? I would agree with them about an appropriate line of action before divulging personal information.
That said, scammers are filth and deserve to rot in hell.

It would actually help to shed some light on his way of operation.
Also Im not sure if your scam was recent, or how recent, in what value roughly and of what goods.

Not strictly necessary, but might be helpful to share your bit of a story.

Yes, of course I informed the mods at RegGeek.com! Everthing has been documented and shared with them. Let me stress again, I posted here because I feel it is important that this puke, Eric Vasquez, not be emboldened. I don’t know that there is anything the mods here can do to help me and that was never my expectation.

Some have duly noted this is an old thread. Which is exactly why it was appropriate to reopen it and warn everyone after Eric Vasquez scammed me last month. As the saying goes, a tiger does not change his stripes and this chap didn’t either.

Incredibly, he is still using the Dodge2009 handle he was using when he was outed in 2014. I think it’s safe to say, the guy has no fear. His lack of integrity is baked in.

Here are the details for the curious who have asked: (i) Vasquez offered to sell a watch; (ii) I offered to buy it for the asking price; (iii) Vadquez accepted my offer and gave me his payment information; (iv) I transferred money to his account; (v) Vasquez never delivered the watch; and finally, (vi) Vasquez has not answered phone calls, text messages, emails, and PMs.

Since I last heard, he has not answered the mods at RepGeek either.

The point of my reopening this thread was to inform the community that this guy is not just some scammer from years ago that we don’t need to worry about. He is back scamming and my warning to the RWI community is to beware.

I think what I needed to share has been shared. If you have questions, or knowledge that I can use, please contact me by PM.

Thanks for your interest and concern,

Slugger

Just found in the RWI archives that his character was outed in an earlier thread here.
