Hi everyone,

I made a post before about the PAM104 to gather some feed back about it but it seems that most people on the forum have manually winded panerais.

So I started to look into the PAM005K and noticed it had a swan neck regulator from the picture though the description does not sAy so from puretimewatch.com

I am just curious, as my attempts to find an answer to what a swan neck regulator does on a panerai has come to no avail, I was hoping thAt perhaps someone here could enlighten me on what it is.

Thanks!

Swan neck is used to adjust the timing of the watch ie running to fast or slow,

Goin thanks for the offer lemme read up more on the 229 and I'll see if I can live with the differences between the 104 and 229 :)

Thanks shayno for that, just curious does the regulator work automatically to correct the speed?

no, it has to be manually adjusted either with a timing machine or by guesstimating. The swan neck seems to make it easier to adjust though compared to my experience adjusting other watches.
