Endurance Pro and waterproofing

Hello friends, for the summer I wanted a tool watch that would accompany me on my walks and swims. Until now, all my watches have been waterproof, and I've never encountered any problems when swimming with them.

I just ordered an Endurance Pro and I just read in a forum post that a technical advisor said "not waterproof."

I'd like to get feedback from Endurance owners: have you encountered any waterproofing issues?
Thanks

Jossé

It’s probably like with most other reps, sometimes you get lucky other times you don’t. The only way to be sure is to test it.

Since the Endurance Pro you ordered is a replica, there are a few extra things to consider when it comes to waterproofing.

Replicas often come with a similar water resistance rating as the genuine model, but the quality control and craftsmanship can vary, and sometimes the waterproofing isn't as reliable. The seals, crown threading, and caseback might not be as tightly finished as on the genuine model, which could increase the risk of water ingress over time.

If you're planning on swimming or submerging the watch, I'd suggest being extra cautious. It’s not uncommon for replicas to not hold up as well in water, especially if they're not pressure-tested or if the seals have been compromised during manufacturing. A good rule of thumb is to test the water resistance of a replica before fully relying on it for swimming or more extreme water activities.

C'est probable comme avec la plupart des autres représentants, parfois vous avez de la chance d'autres fois que vous n'avez pas. La seule façade d'en être sûr est de le testerMercer

Thanks for your replies. I'm pretty sure the waterproofing isn't as good as it is on other watches. I'm going to take the watch apart, grease the gaskets, and pressure test it. But I'd be pissed off if this watch wasn't waterproof. It's really great for the beach. I got the orange model.
Have any of you bought the orange one too?
