EMS how long is too long?

Hi guys,
I'm in the CONUS and waiting for a watch from China. It was shipped on 8/21 and I was given a tracking number. When I try to track the package it shows that it's posting from China still. How long before I should panic? What's the typical shipping time for ems from China to the us?

EMS is terribly slow on updating tracking. Usually I get EMS packages in about 7-8 days. You will see tracking when it arrives the USA, and customs. Then maybe nothing for a day or two. Then it will just show up on your door step. Just be a little bit more patient. The longest time is just to get out of China, then it will go quick.

They are very erratic. Sometimes in less than a week, sometimes almost a month. I wouldn't panic yet. Completely normal for it to take this long before showing up as arriving in the states. Relax, and it will be here before you know it.

i thought 3times customs check it would be zeiset but the next day i recived the package. also the delivery date is not correct recibed my package the 30 of August instad of 1 september

I Live on the east coast as well. Right outside of Philadelphia. I guess I just need to be patient.

The last update I can see says "processed through facility Guangzhou, China" does anyone know what that means? Has the watch cleared China customs yet?

That means it's on its way to the US. Next time it updates is when it'll be in the US and likely a day or two before you get it. You should be fine with customs. I don't think I've read about anyone getting an EMS package seized and if it does happen, it's extremely rare.

I've got one that has been in customs since 8/17 which is the longest I've ever had one held up.

Same here, I'm an instant gratification kinda guy. I don't like waiting. I'm working on it though.
I prefer to buy m2m so I know I won't have customs issues and will receive the watch in a few days.
It's been difficult finding decent watches in m2m. The good ones sell within minutes. I check m2m section dozens of times a day and still miss out.

I have one shipment sent the 16th and left China the 18th...no update since then...just be cool and it will eventually show up.

will it be delivered in ny post box or will they deliver it personally after they called and see if I'm home?
