EGI STRAP... What to do???

I have a DSN 54mm EGI on the way with 24mm strap but suspect I will need a different strap. Any suggestions people??

Canvas, Nato, Ammo... Exotic...??? Really should be a dive strap but just don't know.

Are you wanting a vintage style strap? Or newer look strap? How about a Shark? Photo of a Rocco strap on a 364 and the shark is super nice.

See these are all good answers . No don't want Modern, the Gunny MI1 is a bit expensive, I think either some kind of Canvas or Ammo style. I may have to Go Hamilton or Gunny though I much prefer Eric as he goes way beyond the call of duty for me. More ideas please anyone. I'm at work so I cant go through the PAM thread looking for the Canvas I'm thinking of!!!!

He´s got big sizes. I find the quality very high for the prices they go. Accessible also are Martú-straps. I´d go with an ammo or thick but soft vintage leather.

Mine had an old POS I picked up in the strap section for next to nothing. I beat the crap out of it then mounted it. Turned out to be real nice. Polish that DSN like I did. Huge improvement.

Jose Maria 74 strap, perfect combo with Egi. I think it's around €55-60.

I went with a distressed Asso-type 24/24 strap for my mini-Egi from Chimaera straps. Cheapish strap for a cheapish watch Buckle was originally all polished but I brushed all of it except the tang.

edit: 600th post. I'm not sure why that's a significant milestone but there it is!

Watch came in today and I really like it but as predicted the strap is to small and not very manly. So I'm really in need.

Here are a couple Ammo's on my PAM subs. Both are from Nero, price is reasonable, PM JohnG on here if you are interested, he is becoming my favorite strap maker.

You'll need a realy thin leather for the Nato otherwise it will really look silly at the lugs. Here's one of my DSN's I used with a Nato. I wear one of mine on an Ammo, don't have any pics of it mounted, but it would be one of the below. Also, below I've attached a pic of what was used on the original Gen Egi's.

That's gen leather. I am out of that hide and only have one 24mm pre-made left in stock, plus one on my personal EGI. I'd sell the one on my personal EGI but with the Damascus buckle it would be very expensive.
