Hi.. I spoke to the jewellers where the watch is being polished this afternoon and told them my concerns you highlighted and requested they check it over..they have just rang me back to confirm the watch is genuine..apparently it was originally sorted from the US according to the serial number etc.. it has been modified with a polished set of links and case sidings.. the movement is a 3135 quickset which shows signs it has been replaced (no idea what this means) .. the hologram was used on various models of rolex and applied in a random format in accordance to which country sourced them??? The photos on ebay do not really do the watch justice as its lit with a incandescent lamp and the macro snaps have camera shake which on a close up photo distorts the image.. they recommend i retake the photos using a tripod.. Many thanks for your input but as i have been assured its genuine i am going to let the auction run its course.. kind regards Darren
