Maybe, maybe not, why is the price so high? Maybe they don't know about watches but they didn't bother to take it to a jeweler (who would have told them it's a fake immediately) and instead is trying to pawn it off for 10x the amount it's worth to people who don't know any better, it's still at the bare minimum very malicious

In my opinion it's this.

They're a bonifide hospice, but still doesn't excuse the fact if a fake watch is being sold as genuine.

I wrote to the seller again last night. No response and the item is still online. So he accepts that a customer buys a fake watch? That's really unbelievable!

The staff responsible for operating the ebay shop will be volunteers. There is no individual seller.

Also, good luck getting a response on Boxing day. It's a UK public holiday.

I'm sure the appropriate action will be taken in due course.

Well yeah. I don’t think anyone really thought this was malicious did they? I actually feel bad that they may lose out on the extra ££. But it’s better then having some poor bastard unknowingly pay over the odds then get caught.
