Im using inTime website who is a TD on RWI after completing order ive been directed to http://www.rothenwatch.com to repeat my order for the same amount as the watch im trying to buy is this normal practice, i fully understand the reasoning for doing this but as this is my first time purchasing need some advise. Has anyone else gone through the same process with dummy website and is it safe to proceed.
Thanks

I never bought from Intime, but it's strange that request. Check the info here:

I guess you're trying to pay by CC? I think it's normal. I never bought using CC from the dealers you're talking about, but the way it goes is that they use a 3rd party processor to process these transactions.

I would also NOT recommend using a Credit Card - unless you're using a a virtual/one time/ card or something.

Think about what kind of shady third party processor would allow rep dealers to use them to process illegal goods. Yeah. Your info can get stolen quite easily. That's not TD's fault - it's the 3rd party processor they use.

Maybe keep in contact with this guy, and ask him how to proceed:

If you're going to pay with a credit card, this is how they usually do it. I paid this way myself some time ago and had no issues.
But as others mentioned above, use a one time card or virtual card when paying with CC.

CAUTION

I got hacked last month and I know it traced back from a dealer processor

Virtual only. I'll be using that only for now on.

I hope the scoundrels get what's coming to them

I have purchased several watches from Ryan at InTime and this is the way they do it…it’s a little weird but I’ve never been scamed by them and transaction was always smooth…

Ryan runs a smooth operation. From the first step onwards. I just couldn't make my bank authorize the transaction via his payment methods, so I had to go with JTime ( not satisfied, with both speed and price-wise). Next time, Ryan, shoutout!
