that would usually mean something is wrong....possibly dead movement. Could be as simple as a loose screw in your spring. Open it up and look at it

Don't overwind, that wouldn't help.
Try opening the caseback, as rsh correctly suggested it might be a screw come off and now blocking the wheel. Thats a very easy fix. If that's not the case it might be the keyless works. Very annoying and common problem.

Opening a case back is very simple if you have the right tool for it.
Have you tried winding the watch by hand? It could as well be a loose rotor.

Are you talking about the half moon shaped thing? That would be the rotor, and it looks like a simple problem. The screw must have been off unless your rotor is ripped somehow, but I doubt that is the case.
Either you can find a screw or get one, and just screw it back on.
Meanwhile, you can hand wind the watch just to make sure, but I wouldn't recommend it, because the screw could be loose in the movement and can ruin your movement when your watch runs.

Here is the pic that I got from one of the tutorials:

The screw in the center is the one you should look for. If it's on and rotor's fine--though I can't fathom how this could happen--just unscrew the screw and screw it back on with the rotor.

I bet the screw is still somewhere inside. it should be an easy fix provided the loose screw hasn't damaged the mov. You just need to screw back the rotor.

This same thing happened to my SeaDweller. On mine, there was a sticker over the screw to make it look like it was pressed in place. I had to peel the little sticker off to get to the screw head. Then it was very easy to screw it back into place. I didn't replace the sticker because I think that may have been what caused it to unscrew in the first place. That was several months ago and it has been fine since.

It amazes me when people come, ask for help and are too lazy to post a pic

Oh well, I get all sorts of pms asking me for help and when they get it sorted they dont even drop in a "thanks". Some people have no concept of "limited spare time", I should just start mass-deleting new pms from members I don't know before even reading them. Most of the times there's no point in reading them at all, really.
Compared to a whole new generation of spoiled noobs, this guy wasn't bad, he sounded just desperate about his watch.
Now I am curious, I want know whether he fixed it >.>

It happens all the time as well. It really sucks, because if I said anything about not saying "thanks", I'm afraid it might make me look anal.

yep, I just stop replying in those cases. In a couple pms they stop too =)

Very good read if you are interested in what may happen if you waste time on the wrong person. (take a leak first, it might be dangerous not to)

Man, this would be one of the worst things that could happen to you.
One can build nice relationships with others online; but it's way easier to stumble upon people trying to take advantage of you.

I did not mean to call the OP lazy, well I guess I did, but it is like asking the front fender on my car has a small dent, how much do you think it will cost to fix it ? Is it a hyundai excel or lamborghini countach? sp?

I stop reading pms "in those cases", not always. I made friends with a lot of awesome guys in here along with the years. I just can't stand lazy noobs who won't go through a normal search and would rather waste your time with silly questions hardly listening unless you reply exactly what they want to hear. Not talking about the OP now, he just asked questions for a real issue he is having. Somebody called Hazel for example.
But we are kinda hijacking the OP's thread here, I apologize.
(I still want to know what happened to his mov) :p

Take a look at the Reject's Journal, that's what happens on a daily basis:

But I admire your helping others and giving advice to others.
Ya gotta believe, karma's looping ahead and coming back at ya! :)
