They have the pro-hunter edition, but the back says luccien piccard.. they can't seem to get it right..

I have the Pro Hunter edition.

Mine says "JACQUES PICCARD EDIION" on the case back.

It does not have the single red "DEEPSEA" as it should.

It´s arriving for the dealers this month...
PureTime has it on the arrivals list, but it doesn´t have a price yet...

I'm curious as the anals feel they'll be called out on everything. Why would you want to have a copy of a watch which costs over 25k (that's sticker, people are really paying more) that only 86 exist of? With so many experts walking around on the Subway, why would you believe they would think it's real?

...Fakey is right on that statement.
PRO-Hunters, IMO, are more like collector´s items. You won´t see them around..as all the PRO-Hunter marketing is around a watch for hunters wear when they go out to shoot. Other way, it´s a watch that will mostly be sitting on its watchbox just to stare at WHEN and IF the owner cares, cause he certainly will have alot more watches to use everyday...

I can´t deny that it´s a mean looking watch, very interesting to stare at, and everything...But it´s not for me. Although I find the concept of black watches very attractive, black Rolies just don´t ring that bell on me. I´m planning to get a DSSD for me, but the stock one. and due to my small wrist size, I know I won´t even use it. I´m gonna get it as a collector item and that´s it.
While that...I´ll keep admiring these watches that pop around here and there, like this Single RED here and etc.

I also am not digging the black this kind of timepiece. It looks like it come out of a claw machine at an arcade. I know I know.....it is of prestige taste and only a certain few will ever get to lay eyes on the gen, but its just not right.

This 'prototype' is even worse than what is currently available:
we had a correct Pro Hunter dial with a almost correct JP back. If it stayed on your wrist, it was a good Pro Hunter edition. Not anymore.
Please remove the "PRO HUNTER" text from the dial.

You know I have been experimenting with Seadwellers lately in the PVD thread. A standard one. Anyone like this woud definitely be a fakey21afied version of it. But they''re so damn big. Any one got a wrist shot of one?

I am trying to hammer out a ceramic PVD Sub which I think would be of interest.

Hmmm... I think it would look great without the PVD coating, single Red... Time to get some dials!

Considering 99% of the people are ignorant regarding current models, and specially aftermarket modifications no one will be able to say it's a fake Pro-Hunter. [Anal] If someone asks, just tell them they made that custom dial without Pro-Hunter in Red for you, I'm sure the company would do it. [/Anal]
