DSN's new crystal for PAM24A - Big improvement but ...

Hi Folks,


For those who owned DSN's older version of PAM24 or PAM25 and are thinking of replacing the old crystal with off-centered cyclop, here's some pics for your viewing.


First, the pic of the older version of DSN's PAM24 and PAM25 with the off-centered cyclop to the date window

And here's the Pic of the new crystal with centered cyclop to the date window

Conclusion : Finally, the correct centered cyclop and I would say it is a big improvement, but ... the mag power still need to be improved further.
Anyway, I am happy with it and DSN's a great guy to deal with.


For those who are thinking of improving your DSN's submersible, I'll say go for it.
