DSN vs. Noob vs. "H" 112

I have not been active on the forum in a few years (although I have been wearing my reps daily). My friend at work just purchased a GEN Pam 321 GMT 3 day power reserve, and now I want to replace my 112.

About 4 years ago I bought a DSN Ultimate 112 and loved it, but I no longer own it. Can anyone help me understand the quality difference between DSN's "reborn" 112 and the Noob and H versions currently available? I read the great comparison Angus did between the Noob and H, but can't find any threads comparing these versions to DSN's new version.

I don't mind paying the extra money for the DSN if it is superior. Should I expect DSN's new model to be similar to my Ultimate DSN 112 version regarding the dial, dial color, case and other physical features? (I know the the Ultimate had a Swiss movement and the "reborn" version does not)

As far as it goes, I gues that the premium DSN is asking for the 112 is not 100% justified. If you are not a PAM enthusiast and an all-time anal rep collector, a noob version from the 112 is one of the best solution for the money.

I'd stick with that, however, cannot comment on real life experience since never ever seen in person a DSN 112.... The AR and the crystal seems to be better on the factory reps, dial is spot on concerning the noob, lume is superb on the h-factory but sometimes not 100% on the noob version, CG looks great to my eyes on the noob as well, CP is flush as hell on the noob. Just my 2 cents

The dial don't is the correct color plus it has a better crystal

Read the Noob v H-Factory v Gen 111 teardown in the PAM section and see what you think. I have an H-Factory 177Mv2 and am very happy with it, but my Noob 112 somehow seems more-of-a-piece - it just seems to feel like a gen! (Not that I've held a gen, but it feels amazing )

I don't think you'll be unhappy with the Noob 112, plus it has the correct 21600bph movement.
