Hi guys,
About 2 weeks ago I purchased a stock DSN PAM232 V2 from member "Dirty Harry" over on RepGeek.
As he was located in the EU as well, waiting time had only been a week or so, which I know us guys love .
He sold me his matte black croc strap from Ted Su as well, but I had to push a bit for it lol. The strap has a beautiful, sewn-in, highly polished, Rolexfinder V2 MX-buckle, which to me is as cool as it can freakin' be!
Anyhow, Dirty Harry is an amazing member and if you'd ever want to purchase a watch from him or he wants to buy one from you, I highly recommend him.
The PAM232 is a modern interpretation of the highly sought after PAM21. The sandwich "Tabacco" dial, manual wound movement, gold hands (with dots, I'll show you later) and "time only" is just extremely appealing to me. I've dubbed about the Cartel-case (which he sold as well) but to me that one wasn't worth the premium. The Cartel-case however is a bit more sharp and square than the DSN-version which we have here today with us.
The dots on the hands don't bother me that much, but if I end up getting annoyed by it, I'll purchase some new ones for a couple of bucks on VintageWatchParts.co.uk/store .
Conclusion: it's definitely not a SuperRep, but dang, it's a beauty. Movement runs great, dial is amazing in daylight, gold hands are cool... What more can I say?!
Here we go, more pics of this beauty can be uploaded upon request! By the way, I have a 16,5 cm wrist and it's a pleasure to wear a 47mm Radiomir case due to the short lug to lug size of 52 mm.
