Most probably a tangle mainspring. You can see under loupe those spring on balance wheel. It can be tangled. Main problem during shipping. You can fix it by untangling it. Otherwise, can be hand touching other hands/the dial.

ahh so a trip to a watchsmith should be able to sort it? personally i have no clue how to untangle a mainspring. I should point out that the internals seem to spin happily for a minute or so, then stop. The resistance is so great on the crown that the fraction of a turn i can get on it seems to power it up for a minute or so.

yours is doing what mine did a few weeks ago. exact symptom(s). My fix was this: remove caseback and resecure the movement by tightening the two (or three YMMV)screws holding the movement in place. also blow out all debris. finally let it sit to allow the mainspring some time to "unwind" a bit and then try to wind it a little. if that dont work, shake it a bit to un bind it-GENTLY! Good Luck!

I received a DSN Pam 111H a few weeks ago and have been GREATLY dissapointed. Mine loses 5 to 10 every HOUR, if you can BELIEVE that.

Also, I asked DSN 3 times if the watch would fit a SS band before I ordered and he said most definitley. I get the watch with his leather band on it and the SS band in the box. When I tried to put the SS band on the he sent me it would not fit.

What bothers me the most is that I already have a Swiss Pam 111H w/SS band from another dealer I got a year ago and it runs great and the SS bracelet fits perfectly.

The only thing I was impressed with was the lume, other than that I have been quite dissapointed.

yep, have already spoke to david. Its no problem to be replaced, it was just if it was something simple id rather not send it back around the world and risk customs x2 again! cheers for all the help. I should know today if its simple or sending back. Hopefully a bit of swarf in the motor.

Try to get it fixed close to home. Or at least without sending it half way around the world. My DSN 127 stopped working the day after I received it. Then it started working again. It ran great for a few months, and then stopped. This time without recovering. I sent it back to DSN, and he worked on it, and sent it back. When I got it back it worked for 3 days and stopped. He is more than willing to repair the watch, but after the time and money spent to send it to him, I think I will try and find someone a little closer to help.

This has now been fixed by a decent uk based watchsmith, sadly the problem was part of the modification to the movements second hand (which is obviously removed on the pam) and was causing the movement to stall, it had to be turned on a lathe to remove a burled edge, and thus, could never have been QC'd and would never have worked prior to shipping either.
I know its a rep and you pays yer money and takes yer chances, bit dissapointed in a dsn to be sent out like that though. Its all fixed now and looks great. But at a cost.
