DSN or Robert Fiddy

Good morning,

I´m on the last meters to place my order. Just 2 questions. Does anyone knows the different between the 217/127 from time4direct and the ultimate 217/127 from DNS? Are both super reps? If I order from DNS how would you order your 217 in terms of specifications (movement, crystal and so on) Unfortunately DNS has only the 217H in stock. Or should I wait because there is an ultimate version coming in the next weeks???? :)

i would go with DSN for customer service alone...i think there are a few mods that need to be done to the DSN fiddy, but overall for me it's a no brainer :) DSN

as I´m based in Germany I´m looking for the best version without mods (would be different being based in your area where I can use all the modders ;-). Thats why I´m asking if I go for DSN how should my shopping list to him for the watch should look like. Unfortunately he has only the 217H in stock (whatever H mean)?

dude i'm in b.f.e. (middle of nowhere, south america) i also did not mean to imply that roberts did not need mods. unless things have changed i don't think robert will send QC pics. so really who knows what it needs. and +1 to what level man said. i there are threads in the pam section about the fiddy. have you talked to sead? he did a fiddy that looked pretty nice. i'm sure he could tune up anything you want. he is in the E.U. as well.

I believe roberts fiddy ( if you mean the 249$ one) is the same as a cartel fiddy, only with a nicer crystal, as the cartel normally comes with a mineral. also the cartel normally comes with pretty shabby lume, where I believe the robert one has pretty good lume, but I would confirm those details in roberts listings in his section.

remember the dsn costs 450$ with swiss mvt/ more accurate crown guard/and maybe crystal (not sure how good roberts saphire is-could be as good as dsn?), the robert one is 249$ and has the mnore accurate case/crown/mvt bridge decoration.

EDIT: did I say mnore accurate? - I mneant mnuch mnore..... :facepalm:

Does Robert as an internet shop or just the photobucket? In the photobucket I can only find a few photos of the fiddy and 217, and I don´t know if these are his ultimate versions. Nevertheless I wrote him a mail.

Guys you make my decision not easier

Trk to be honest they were $249 for a long time but for some reason they became unavailable . This was for about 12 months to be honest then a few months ago one of my other suppliers sent me a sample of a 127 that was a little more expensive and equally as good if not better in some detail than the ones we had been selling so we are now stocking these until we are offered something significantly better which I personally don't see happening anytime soon

Thanks all for your help!!!! You are great and it is a great forum here which helps me a lot by finding the right decision. I´ve now 3 offers on the table. That makes it not easier but it´s interesting to see the different of the models. Some look different after some mods, but these are part of the offers. So I have to decide now from the fiddy and/or from Robert, Sead or DSN! I´m sure I will place my order next week to one of them. After a strong business month I need a goodie ;-)

If anyone has some opinions on this much appreciate

In addition, what do you think about this? Got this in the RG forum...

"Fiddy buyers should wait.....All this talk of an impending release of a H factory or Noob factory Fiddy is probably not in the air......It will happen.....nobody knows when......for the time being to tide you over you could buy a cheapish version from Robert...."

Should I wait??????
