DSN 3646 MM or 232

I have a 232, and at 47 mm, the strap lugs are at 27 mm, this is a large and classic Panerai from 1938. DSN has the best one with the tobacco brown dial. Mine was one of the first reps with a smoky gray dial, which makes it close to a fantasy, however no one really knows any difference.
Really no comments on the vintage 3646 MM from DSN? Is this one of the times where if you have nothing good to say, don't say it 
lastly, anyone think a 47mm is too big on 7" wrist? I am not sure if I can trust your opinion hambone as you got the big Ez
most likely going to pull the trigger on the 232 from DSN, vs trying to get one made between trusty's case and dsn's dial (too many unknowns.)
