Hi Guys,
A quick DSN 112H dial font question. I bought 111H and 112H reps from Davidsen last week. The watches look amazing. Delivery was extremely fast – 3 days! The 111H is perfect not a single dust particle on the dial, AR coated sapphire crystal with a violate look and great lume. The photo-effect is working satisfactory for my watches. The lume actually stays for about 2 hours after I excite the electrons with my LED torch?
The 112H is equally beautiful and stunning. I love base dials. In my opinion they have this crispy, classical and timeless look. I’ve read about the differences in the fonts compared to the gen. I’d like to know whether it is normal the curve “b†on the number 6 to be thicker than the curve “aâ€? I thought that “b†should be symmetrical and proportional to “aâ€.
When I look at the 112H dial with magnifying glass I can also see some bumps on its wall within the number, some roughness on the edge. Sorry I can’t produce a good picture so I’d to use the pictures Davidsen sent. I’m probably picky, but I’m just curious. Can some of the gurus explain the groove of the number’s font on DSN watches and n the gens in general. It can be interesting to all of us. I’d appreciate your opinion on the subject. Thank you.
Cheers
P.S. A few pictures of the watches.
