i just purchased a dsn 111h and i was wondering if my watch is defective? i don't wear it much, when i do i wind it up a good 15-20 turns. then i wear it all day then i took it off to take a shower a couple of hours later the watch stops. then i have to wind it again. does this sound like a defect? if so what's wrong with it?

you should e able to wind your watch about 30 - 35 times.

and this will give you the max power reserve. i wind my watch about 20 winds in the morning, and when i want to wear it again next day.....another 15-20 times before i go to bed.

no, nothing is wrong with your watch....wind it fully ( stop when you start feeling resistance ! )

and then see how long it runs.

Depending on your grip and winding technique, you should be able to wind it fully in about 50-60 turns, or about 30 on a Rad which is without CG.

I normaly wear my watches in 2-day rotation, wind it fully in the morning so it lasts for about 2 days.

I'd say WIND IT UP MORE!

I've got a few watches to choose from, only 2 wrists, can't wear 2 watches at one go so most of the others stay in hybernation. Taking them out after a couple of weeks, I find myself having to wind them up a fair bit more than usual. But no fuss at all, it all works fine and dandy.

Give it a couple more winds. Watches need some good old fashion TLC.
