Got myself a SS bracelet to use with DSN 005, but I've a problem. The lug pin holes just don't line up. Is this a common thing with Davidsen's great watches? Just want to get an opinion...

My PAM005 from Davidsen has a stripped screw. I can try to screw in as much as possible, but it doesn't tighten...

Davidsen watches and parts aren't 100% compatible with others parts and watches.

His parts are designed to fit 100% his cases. Some parts can be modded to fit.

I purchased a stainless steel bracelet with one of the reps I ordered and had the same fit problem. The holes did not line up with the bracelet. I carefully took a Dremel to the bracelet with the small sanding drum tool and worked it slowly until the fit was right. I stayed away from the top, visible edge of the bracelet and worked fom the middle to the back side. The spring bars from River will not fit in a bracelet. The diameter of the hole is too small.

Before you try the Dremel, switch ends of the bracelet on the watch. There might be just enough difference to make it line up with the holes. If you go for the Dremel, I would recommend that you make the bracelet just a little loose so it is easy to find the holes. I would be concerned about stripping the threads in the watch head.
