This feedback should have happened sooner.
@drvintage and I started communicating about this special (to me) project back in October after he posted a 1675 build in the for sale section. With his help, as well a @Andy Chan1, the journey began with sourcing gen parts for what would be an incredible Franken 1675. Who knew that part of the fun was the hunt!
The project almost didn’t happen, with the bulk of the parts sitting in German Customs for about 2 weeks.
Luckily @drvintage managed the conversation with customs. Although they were planning to send back all of the parts, instead they ended up releasing the package to drvintage out of the blew.
I love, love, love, everything about this build, including the attention to details with case & crown guard shaping to match a gen case he owns.
Looking at this watch makes me smile! It’s true what they say…a great experience can make owning a specific watch that much better. drvintage made this experience great from beginning to end! He’s extremely easy to deal with, comms through this process was great. It was nice to just set him loose and watch the artistry happen. I can’t recommend him enough.
Thanks again D!
