Hi guys!

Dropped my 005k this morning while doing a strap change, on the surface, everything seemed ok.. But when I tried to put a new strap, the screwbar on one end could not fit.. The impact sort of dented the lugend on one end..

Any way to resize the lugend so it'll fit the screwbar again.? Other then changing the case.. Was hoping to wear it for my sister's wedding dinner in a week's time..

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, all!

With a small screwdriver or anything like it, trying easy to make the hole round again.

The strange thing is, I tried using the 1.6mm screwdriver, it went thru smoothly&when put the screwbar in again, it doesn't fit..I even tried forcing it but it only ended up bending the screwbar..

ok, after meddling with it for about an hour.. i realised what was the issue here..

apparently, the impact from the drop caused one lug to get bent inwards..thus causing e alignment of the lugs on one side to go off.. after some DIY fixing with regular hardware tools..i managed to get it re-aligned! not w/o leaving some deep battle scars tho..&i actually had afew layers of tape on..

here're some pics of the aftermath.

this experience shows me how "soft" this cases are.. i'd most likely leave it on as a reminder to be extra careful with my watches&not to handle them when i have just gotten outta bed..hahaha..

A quick polish with a dremel should take away the depth of the scarring, you'll still see it but it won't be as obvious with a little work.

Maybe use a small deadblow or rubber hammer in the future. Once again, that really sucks!
