Don't like this "REG TM" on the Gens

In the new issue of WatchTime, there's a review of the PAM 372. I noticed in the photos (and why haven't I noticed this before?) that they are now printing "REG. TM" on the crown guard.

Then I watched a video on YouTube, and the new models say "REG. TM" on the crown guard.

I hate this. I think it looks like crap. I assume this will eventually come to the reps we buy. So I don't know about you, but I'm going to stock up on current generation reps before I'm stuck with this ugly feature.

Anyone else noticed this? Is this old news? Will it affect your purchase of reps?

It depends on the Pam you buy, , not all have the engraving, I don't know enough to say why, but I am sure someone will step in.

Ah, well there's no danger in me buying a 372 because I don't do the 47mm case. Too big! Even 44mm is a stretch for my tastes so I'd never go even bigger.

But the 359 is otherwise a very nice choice, ruined only by the REG TM engraving. It's just so gosh darned tacky!

You can erase the engraving !!
Read this Thread to take some ideas to do it.
BRUSHING and POLISHING damaged bezels-Tutorial

Make over the CG a treatment like a damaged bezel, starting with a relative big grain sand paper and finish with Cape-cod or polishing paste.
with alittle of patience you will erase the engraving.

I am not a fan of the TM on the crown guard either ..... guess you have to do something to keep the REP world from dominating your product sales.

hehe as if anything the manufactures do can't be replicated over time ........

That is a fairly standard >>>

Feature on most Pams that use the 1950 style case in both 44 and 47mm...
Whether you like it or not, you'll have problems trying to sell them if you remove it...:unsure:
