Wow ... first time i say ... thank god there was a cat!

But tbh. that dog doesn't really made an aggressive impression on me ... maybe he just wanted to "play"

that cat kept that kid from being seriously hurt or more, though my only question is why did the mother or whomever that was leave him there when she went back towards to house and not pick him up and run away....
I've said from day one any cat has a fighting chance against any dog if it can get on top

I'm not an animal person, but if I had a cat, that would be the cat I would want. Or should I say, I would hope a cat like that chose me.

The mom was watering their garden nearby within sight of the child. She was there quite fast. It was just that the cat reacted much faster (cat-like reflexes lol). If you view the videos in full, you will also see that the cat stopped under the car and watched to make sure the dog did not come back.
