I was looking at this watch from manilla. Does it look like a gen to you guys or is it a rep?

i'm not quite sure.....but why the hell is that date font crooked???
and talk about worn out bezel there....man... :?

Yes, the watch is gen.
Date crooked ? Not 100% aligned after servicing.
Bezel scratched? It's a pre-owned watch.
Beware it fits a 7 inch wrist.

Pro's for Gen:

-Correct HE Valve placement
-Dial Font correct
-Hands correct length

Con's against Gen:

-Bezel misaligned
-Pearl misaligned ever so slightly
-Datefont crooked

Could be frankenwatch. Maybe Imelda Marcos stepped on it? :shock:

Well, if the crooked datewheel is a result of poor servicing, then perhaps the same serviceman can be blamed for the debris on - or damage to - the dial and all the hands. Wow.

Looks gen to me.. compare to mine really quick -- seems pretty close.

the clasp/bracelet looks pretty gen to me. Most omega clasps i've seen have a slight curvature at the ends that make it more flush with the bracelet... and they arc a little more in (arrow) when snapped tight so it wraps around the wrist more.

noticed on the rep one its more square and kinda doesnt arc as much...

I would feel a bit nervous about the bezel misalignment... it's a red flag. (unless if an Omega expert tells us that gens have that problem anyway; don't know...)

Looks gen with a non-omega service (poor one at that). As for the wear, that is about how mine looked after 10 years of daily wear, bezel faded even the orange on the second hand tip faded. Mis-aligned bezel is wierd but could have been taken out while polishing and put back in improperly.

- White tip second hand (should be red)
- Second had is a bit short
- Bezel color is too light
- misaligned date font

Seriously, I don't know. It could be a great rep or a gen with bad replacement parts.
The case is great.

Don't forget it's a Quartz SMP. price should be lower than $1000 (and in that condition, should be about $600)
