The Panerai 111 has a modified Unitas 6497 movement which includes a swan's neck regulator and some enhancements including bridge decorations and enhanced power reserve.

The reps can include a Swiss 6497 but are not precisely the same as the Panerai movement.

But the gen is also a $5,000 watch.

The movement in this replica is the weaker link in the chain. As in many reps with display caseback.
But, as COLDI is saying, they have improved a lot and, nowadays, the movement is good enough for our purposes.
The so-called "swiss" of some dealers for this rep are bad purchase IMO.

No its not. nothing is 1:1 except maybe a 318 with a swiss movement...

As far as I know PAM 029 can be fitted too with a Swiss if you want and some reps from DSN.
